If you are in the police force or are serving in the military, then you are NOT a Good person.
A Good person is one who always think, speak, and act in ways which is morally right and refuses to think, say and act in ways which are morally wrong.
Your job is to enforce all laws and to follow all the orders of those you erroneously believe to be your superiors – not to think for yourself and to do what you know is right.
As astutely stated by Dr. Robert Higgs:
“The Whole “Good/Bad Cop” Question Can Be Disposed of Much More Decisively. We Need Not Enumerate What
Porpotion of Cops Appears to Be Good or Listen to Someone’s Anecdote About His Uncle Charlie, An Allegedly Good Cop.
We Need Only Consider the Following:
(1) Every Cop Has Agreed as Part of His Job to Enforce Laws, All of Them
(2) Many of The Laws Are Manifestly Unjust, And Some Are Even Cruel & Wicked.
(3) Therefore, Every Cop Has Agreed to Act as An Enforcer of Laws That Are Manifestly Unjust, Or Even Cruel & Wicked
Thus, There Are No Good Cops.”
While Dr. Higgs may be addressing cops, it holds equally true for all military personnel. You do not follow your conscience. You do not follow objective Moral Law which is based in Nature. You obey the orders of your masters, which are based on the subjectivity of one’s perceptions. And in doing so you strip the Freedom of humanity by violating the rights of others. That creates slavery in the world for yourself and everyone that you claim that you love.
THAT MAKES YOU A BAD PERSON!
You, and you alone are responsible for your own actions. The excuse that “I’m just doing my job” holds zero justification because it is your choice whether you will take an action or not. Regardless of who tells you to do what, the choice is always yours.
You may believe you are doing the right thing by serving in the police force or military, but you are mistaken. Those institutions exist to dominate and control the lives of others. To be in service of evil makes you a bad person.
You can make a choice at this very moment to become a truly Good person.
1. Know the objective differences between what is morally right and morally wrong.
2. Have the courage to do the right thing, despite any consequences.
3.Have self-respect for yourself. Know that, in reality, you have no master that you must obey. Also, you have no slaves that must obey your orders.
4. Think for yourself. Do not let others control your actions. Take full responsibility for your actions.
“Accept responsibility for yourself and your actions, thoughts, and words. You alone make choices. You alone are answerable to the consequences of your behavior. The feeble excuse that your boss required it, the establishment expected it, holds no truth or justification. What is the point of having Principles if you allow others to dictate your behavior? At the end of the day, you will judge your performance and the contribution you have made to Creation. It will not be based on what another expected of you, or what you did because you felt trapped.” — David Icke
